Tony Wheeler AO is the best known for originating the modern bestselling travel guidebook, Lonely Planet. The brand grew to become the world’s largest independent guidebook publisher. Since the sale of the publication, Tony remains a tireless globetrotting explorer and through his foundation, Planet Wheeler Foundation, works to support practical and effective projects making a difference in the alleviation of poverty.
